Current Update
The Special Pedagogies and Teaching & Learning Framework projects continue to be integrated to further develop content and structure of the Teaching & Learning Framework. A suite of tools and processes has been developed to enable teachers and school leaders to articulate and evaluate their practice.
Special Pedagogies Action Research Grants 2008 (30 January)
These grants aim to enhance teaching and learning support for middle and senior secondary learners with special needs including senior Indigenous girls, learners at risk in literacy and numeracy, and learners with disabilities through Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs). Grants of $5000 and $10000 will be allocated. $5000 will go to teachers within the same school and $10000 will go to teachers working across schools. Expression of Interest closed 20 February...more

Overview
This project aims to enhance
teaching and learning support for secondary students
with a range of special needs by developing special
pedagogies and resources for boys and girls, including
those at risk in literacy and numeracy, those with
disabilities as well as gifted and talented students.
This will be achieved through a focus on ITC and new
technologies.
