Current Update

Twenty-eight teachers have commenced a Certificate IV in Career Counselling.

The majority of Indigenous Year 12 students from remote communities have developed a transition plan for their future to support their transitions from school to work and/or further education.

Darwin High School has developed a plan for the trialing of the Future SACE/NTCE Personal Learning Plan and this has been approved for funding. The trial has commenced and will be completed and reviewed by the end of 2007.

Overview

This initiative seeks to support secondary teachers in monitoring student learning and career pathways in the senior years and in their transition from school to employment, further training or higher education.
