Improve delivery of Vocational and Enterprise Learning, and VET Programs

Current Update

Thirty vocational education and training programs were funded under this initiative in 2007.Sixty programs in total were funded outside of Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs in 2007.

Applications for the 2008 school year have closed and offers have been made to Registered Training Organisations to run VET in Schools programs.

The School to Work Transition Strategy has been distributed to stakeholders and is available on the DEET website.

This initiative aims to improve the delivery of vocational and enterprise learning, and VET programs to all students, including expanding VET programs for secondary aged students.
