Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting

Current Update

The Business Intelligence Centre has been launched, enabling a one-stop website for analysis and reporting of business information. 

School Principals are being given training in the use of this site. A Data-Smart Decision Making workshop was held at the Leading Change Principals Conference in 2007, in line with the release of the Accountability and Performance Improvement Framework (APIF), to ensure principals have the tools to interpret this data to inform their decision making. 

Data sets accessible via the Business Intelligence Centre are continually being expanded.

Overview

The aim of this project is to provide an effective data collection, management, analysis and reporting system to improve support, services and better inform DEET and school communities. The project team will research data systems appropriate to our unique circumstances in the Northern Territory, develop or purchase a system or service and facilitate training.
