Collaborative Trial Sites
Current Update
The Collaborative Trial Sites and Specialist Teachers for Remote Communities projects are being rolled out concurrently.
The following Collaborative Trial Sites have been established:
- Djama Rrambangi involving Ramingining, Gapuwiyak and Milingimbi schools
- Groote Eylandt involving Angurugu, Alyangula and Umbakumba schools
- Borroloola school
- Yuendemu school
- Ngukurr school
- Numbulwar school
The Collaborative Trial Sites and Specialist Teacher Pool projects are working to support the implementation of both Middle Years and Senior Years programs in remote schools.
Previous updates
Overview
This project will provide grants for up to four groups
of schools to trial innovative, locally-devised approaches
for working together more collaboratively to increase
the face-to-face delivery of secondary education in
remote communities. A Coordinator's position has been
funded to assist in the development of criteria for
the program and will support interested schools
